Blume is a digital marketing agency that helps home service businesses grow. We build custom websites and run SEO and Google Ads campaigns for plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers, contractors, and other service businesses across the country. We are a small, focused team that does work we are proud of, and we are growing.
About the Role
You will be selling websites, SEO, and Google Ads management to home service businesses, closing new accounts, and managing those clients for the life of the relationship.
This role puts you in the driver’s seat of your own success. You will hunt for new business, close it, and then keep those relationships for the long run, along with a share of our existing clients. It is built for someone who wants more than a narrow lane. You get the excitement and earning potential of sales together with the steady, long term relationships that come from managing accounts you genuinely care about.
You earn a competitive base salary, and you earn commission on top of every deal you close. There is no ceiling on that commission, so the clients you win directly grow your income. The harder you work and the more you bring in, the more you make.
What You Will Do
- Make outbound cold calls to prospective home service businesses and follow up consistently by email to keep conversations moving
- Set appointments with qualified prospects and run those meetings through to a signed agreement
- Close new business and own your numbers
- Onboard the clients you sign, including setting up their projects in our project management software so the delivery team can get to work
- Stay in regular contact with your clients through phone calls and email so they always know where their projects stand
- Manage a portion of our existing client relationships with the same level of attention and follow through
- Keep your pipeline and account activity organized and up to date
What We Are Looking For
- Someone comfortable picking up the phone and making cold calls without hesitation
- A track record of setting appointments and closing deals, or the drive and coachability to get there quickly
- Strong follow up habits, because most of the work in both sales and account management comes down to consistent follow through
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage many clients and projects at once without dropping details
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Comfort learning new software tools, including project management platforms
- Experience in digital marketing, web design, or the home services industry is a plus but is not required if you are willing to learn
Requirements
- Located in Louisiana and within reasonable driving distance of the Northshore for periodic in person meetings
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- At least two years of experience selling B2B services, software, or marketing solutions over the phone or video, not in person field sales
- Comfortable picking up the phone and making cold calls without hesitation
- Strong follow up habits and the organizational skills to manage many clients and projects at once without dropping details
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Comfort learning new software tools, including project management platforms
Compensation
$50K base salary with uncapped residual commission on every closed deal. Strong performers realistically earn $70K to $90K or more in year one, with no ceiling on what you can make. Your total earnings scale directly with the deals you close and the clients you keep.
Location
This is a remote role, but we are only hiring candidates based in Louisiana at this time. You should expect to meet in person on occasion for team planning, training, and other times when face to face works best, so you will need to be within reasonable driving distance for periodic meetings.
